Transport costs

Own transport

If you bring your horse or pony to us yourself, there are no transport costs.

Transport outside opening hours

If transport or drop-off occurs outside our opening hours, a surcharge of €100 applies.

Transport on Sundays and holidays

We are also available on Sundays and public holidays. However, whether we can pick up or receive your horse or pony on these days depends on:

  • Availability of staff
  • Availability of transport vehicles
  • Capacity at the crematorium


A surcharge of €150 applies for collection or reception on Sundays or public holidays.

Sustainability Fee

At EQUINA Funeral Services, we strive to work as sustainably as possible, given the nature of our services. Therefore, we apply a sustainability fee to cremations.


What does the sustainability fee cover?

We invest in various projects to make our operations more sustainable, including:
 

  • Reducing gas consumption
  • Lowering CO2 emissions
  • Upgrading our vehicle fleet (reducing fuel consumption and using more efficient vehicles)
  • Sustainable improvements to our funeral locations
     

While we cover most of these costs ourselves, the sustainability fee helps offset a small portion so that we can continue investing in green initiatives. This way, as a horse or pony owner, you directly contribute to a greener future.
